About CloudHosting.io

CloudHosting.io is independently built and run, with two decades of hands-on web infrastructure work behind it. That started with managing hosting for client sites and campaigns. These days it means building and operating web applications on the same providers this site covers. The catalog began as an internal spreadsheet for choosing where to host those projects, and once the spreadsheet outgrew the published comparisons it was checking against, it became a site.

Data capture is automated where providers publish pricing APIs, but every detected price change passes through a human review queue before it goes live. See the methodology page for exactly how collection, updates, and scoring work.

Most hosting comparisons are a top-ten list built once and left to rot, ranked by whoever pays the highest commission. This site works differently. Every provider in the catalog gets a full pricing ladder, captured at list price, versioned when it changes, and scored with the same criteria as everyone else. Where a comparison or verdict is generated with AI assistance from that pricing data, the page says so.

Versioned price history.When a provider changes a price we keep the old capture and record the new one with its date. "Last updated" on a provider page means a real verification, and price changes stay visible over time instead of being silently overwritten.
