• Check whether you need all 3 nodes for HA or if a smaller single-node tier would suffice; per-node billing at $3.37/hr means downsizing saves proportionally
• IPv4 address charges are billed separately per instance - factor in additional cost beyond the $7379/mo base price
• If this is a proof-of-concept, request a smaller tier first; OpenSearch pricing scales steeply and you may not need 120GB RAM initially
